Academy Curriculum

Our curriculum is meticulously crafted to guide you on this transformative journey. It encompasses:

  1. Collected Topics: “A Jewel Lamp to Illuminate the Characteristics of Phenomena” by Great Tibetan master Badawa. A foundation that serves as the key to unlocking the profound meanings of Buddhist scriptures. It offers a solid footing upon which to build your spiritual exploration.
  2. Lamrim, the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment: These extraordinary instructions, originally composed by the Indian master Atisha, provide a practical roadmap for progressing on the Buddhist path—from its inception to its culmination. It is a guide to genuine spiritual growth.
  3. Abhisamayalankara, the Ornament for Clear Realization: This extensive presentation of the Lamrim reveals the hidden meanings within the Perfection of Wisdom Sutras. It offers a detailed description of the ascending stages of realization attained through meditation on emptiness. As you study the Ornament for Clear Realization, the Lamrim becomes a potent meditation manual, exponentially enhancing its effectiveness and power.
  4. Tantra: Our curriculum places special emphasis on the practice of the Six Yogas of Naropa. You will explore a comprehensive presentation that covers all essential instructions of the Father and Mother Tantras of Unexcelled Highest Yoga Tantra, rooted in the Guhyasamaja and Heruka Chakrasamvara tantras.

This text book will serve as the foundational course for Badawa Academy.
